Randoms from the Weekend

This past Saturday marked a pretty big milestone for me and my husband.  While we are coming up on our 3 year wedding anniversary in October, Saturday marked 10 years since he asked me to be his girlfriend!!  10 YEARS!  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have this man in my life.  We celebrated in a very low key way with dinner and a little shopping.  It's not a wedding anniversary so we didn't go all out, but still a major milestone in our life together and worth celebrating!

My handsome brothers from left to right Seth, Chase, and Cole.

Sunday I spent the evening at my Dad's house for my brother's 18th birthday party.  I cannot believe he has grown up so fast.  It feels like just yesterday he was a rambunctious 8 year old.

I have been reading The Help and am loving it!  It was hard for me to get into at first because I was having a hard time finding time to read it, but now I am hooked and don't want to put it down!  I am going to see the movie next week with my mom and sister(who has read the book as well).  Have you read the book?  What did you think?  Do you plan to see the movie?  I'll let you know what I think of it once I see it.

I added a new enamel flower necklace to the shop this weekend as well.  It's a fun retro color combo of coral pink and turquoise!  And you can go here for a special promo  ;)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well!

  4. When I finished The Help, I honestly was sad to put it down. I read all of the author's notes and everything just to drag it out some more!
As always, love your jewelry. I WILL be buying a piece or two once I have the spare money to do so!
